This policy explains how restroomtrailersla.com (“the site”) handles information. The site is operated by Open Whale LLC, a California limited liability company. The site collects rental requests for luxury restroom trailer rentals in Los Angeles and Orange County and passes them to rental providers who can fulfill them.
This policy covers information collected automatically when you visit the site, and information you submit through the quote request form. It also explains your rights and choices.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we use PostHog product analytics to understand how the site is used. PostHog collects page views, clicks, the referring site, browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. It uses cookies and browser storage to recognize a returning browser. This data is processed on PostHog’s servers in the United States.
We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views without using cookies. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes.
Information you give us
The quote request form asks for your name, email address, phone number, event date, event location, guest count, and event details. When you submit the form, that information is sent by email through Resend, an email delivery service, to the site’s inbox.
How the information is used
The information you submit is used only to arrange a quote and to reply to you. We share it with one or more restroom trailer rental providers so they can quote your request. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing. The site does not have user accounts, does not take payments, and does not run advertising networks.
Who it is shared with
Your quote request is shared with rental providers who may fulfill it. It is also processed by the service providers named above: PostHog, Ahrefs, Vercel, and Resend, only for the purposes described in this policy. We may share information if required by law, for example in response to a legal process.
Cookies and browser storage
PostHog uses cookies and browser storage to recognize returning browsers. The site itself does not require you to accept any cookie or tracking technology, and it works normally if you block or disable cookies. We do not show a cookie banner because none is required for this use.
Your choices and rights
You can use browser controls to block or delete cookies and browser storage. You can also opt out of analytics by using privacy settings or extensions that limit tracking.
If you are a California resident, you may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask that it be deleted. Send your request to quotes@restroomtrailersla.com. We will respond within the time the law allows.
We keep quote requests as long as needed to handle the request and for business records. Analytics data is kept according to the analytics providers’ retention settings.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us at quotes@restroomtrailersla.com.
